Kenya - Wildlife Experience

Wildebeest Migration:


It is also called as “The greatest snow on the earth”. Approximately 2 millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle wander at regular intervals between Tanzania and Kenya. They will migrate as a group for their protection during the month of January and March in every year. The herd of animals draws towards northwards to the juicy grasses of the Masai Mara due to the promise of rain. It provides marvelous view. This migration is the major moments in wildlife.


 


Elephant Crossing:


Elephant crossing is another breathtaking experience. Once we had an amazing view of elephant crossing after reached the Maasai mara. We had to stop while herd of 20 majestic elephants crossed the path in front of us. Every one worried about their lives and all our mouths were shut when we encountered them.


 


Balloon Safari:


A Safari in Kenya provides the experience to be an out of this world. You can take a drive to the highlands of Aberdares where you will see herds of elephants and rhinos and you can take a diversion to Samburu National Reserve where you can spot the elusive leopard. The lake Nakuru National park offers wonderful view of flamingos.


 


Your safari is not yet completed by only seeing the large herds of animals. You have to experience the fantastic balloon safari and drifting on high. You enjoy the crispness of the African air, have a amazing view at the bright orange color of the rising Sun. Also it offers spectacular view of the wildebeest migration.

People who are traveling from the US do need a Visa. They can get it done at the airport itself. If you are planning far before, you can apply for the visa. People from Nationals and common wealth countries including Canada and UK do not require a visa.


 


Immunization:


There is a risk of catching Malaria everywhere in Kenya. Hence, you need to have a Malaria vaccination to increase your immunity.
