We all love to be loved and cherished. Kenyans are not to be left behind. So many of them are trying all they can to find someone to love them out there. People say that you don’t find love, love finds you. Well I would love to agree but then again if you don’t do anything about your life, It will never change. That is a fact of life.

I will therefore try to look at the ways Kenyans can go about finding their special someone.

For one, the girl or guy of your dreams doesn’t live in your living room. You have to go out there and meet them. You can’t complain that you don’t seem to find someone who meets your fancy while all you do is stay at home staring at you computer screen. Go out and enjoy the great outdoors. While you are at it make sure you meet new people.

Attend dating events. The other day Easy FM were organizing a hook up event. I don’t know how it went down but I know that such events are great opportunities to meet eligible singles just like you. The good thing about them is that you won’t have to be shy. Everybody attending obviously knows what they came to look for.

Weddings can also be great places to meet your special someone. Love is always in the air during such an event. You also meet lots of great people. If you are looking forward to settling down the better. Most of the people who attend wedding parties always have a positive attitude towards marriage. That is unless they are gate crashers.

Though tricky the work place can also be another place where you can meet your knight in shining Armour. That cute secretary could later turn out to be the mother of your little angels.

Online dating is catching up fast and you should definitely try it out. There are so many dating sites out there but most of them ask you to cough a fortune to be able to find love. Don’t be fooled by the promise of free registration. That is the only free thing on their site.
